Welcome to a Bright 2024!

Happy 2024! I hope the beginning of this new year started off bright for you and yours. We had a fantastic year of adventures in 2023, including Vaughn's graduation from the University of Michigan, our move to New York, and ending with our biggest one yet- we welcomed home our daughter, Melody on December 11th! We are all happy, healthy, and thrilled with our newest addition to the family. Our holidays this year were extra merry for us, as we were surrounded by both sides of our family who are almost as smitten with our little girl as we are!

As will be a surprise to no one, I've already had a lot of fun introducing Melody to the world of yarn, including her fancy linen stitch blanket for newborn pictures (tutorial here!), our matching family sweaters for Christmas, and the sweetest daddy-daughter Into the North hats (linked here!).

Looking forward to this next year at Yarncraft, I'm excited to be more active here on the blog, creating more content on YouTube, designing new patterns (maybe even a garment??), working with new yarn dyers and companies, and planning ahead to make it to Rhinebeck this year.
